Social responsibility policy
In pursuing its main mission as an institution dedicated to promoting sustainable development especially to Tunisian enterprises, CITET is doubly concerned by the commitment to social responsibility: first as an actor in the implementation of the CSR program in Tunisian enterprises, then as a member of the World Pact’s international network materialized by the signature of the letter of membership to the World Pact on September 24, 2012.
For CITET, becoming socially responsible consists in integrating social, environmental, and good governance elements in its strategy and activities within the framework of a progressive, sustainable, and balanced approach.
CITET’s CSR policy is based on general principles of social responsibilities, especially those of the World Pact concerning the fields of human rights, labor law, environment, and fight against corruption.
CITET’s CSR policy revolves around the following strategic axes:
Axis 1: Developing the vigilance law and that of the avoidance of complicity for a total respect of human rights, especially at the level of the sphere of influence;
Axis 2: Developing good governance and fighting corruption at all levels;
Axis 3: Developing a constructive social dialogue for the common interest;
Axis 4: Developing capacity building for the fulfillment of the staff;
Axis 5: Being exemplary in the environmental management of the site and in steering innovative project.
The success of the CSR procedure at CITET is based on the implication of all, and the willingness of the staff to fully adhere to these principles.
